“At this course you can learn programming not only by studying the syntax of the language or solving boring training exercises, but also by dealing with real-world in-demand industry data processing and machine learning tasks in power industry. Part of the studies will be held by the professionals with great experience on Data Science projects in IT companies” – says Alexandra Khalyasmaa, head of the program at Ural Power Engineering Institute, Ural Federal University.

Therefore, the emphasis is placed on the practical application of the acquired skills and modern Data Science technologies, including Python programming language, data processing and machine learning libraries NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch.

Who is this program for:

• bachelors of the 2nd year and older,

• specialists of the 3rd year and older,

• masters of the field of study 13.04.01 Heat power engineering and heat-process engineering.

Period of study: 01 October 2022 – 01 July 2023.

The main part of the course takes place online.
