Admission campaign at P5/INRTU is well under way

On June 19, 2021, the admission campaign 2021 has been officially launched at P5/INRTU. The master degree program “Digital power engineering” opened within ESSENCE project is among the most popular master programs offered by the University.

Let us remind you that the first student intake took place in 2019 when 16 students started to study digital power engineering in the Russian language. Starting from September 2021 the program will be also delivered in English to meet the demand of international students wishing to get quality education in electrical power engineering, the field that never stops be actual. For the year 2021, 15 budget places and 15+ paid ones have been allocated for the Russian and English medium programs respectively.

With the support of INRTU admission office, the staff of the Institute of Power Engineering does its best to reach out the prospective students by using different tools and channels: leaflets, roll-ups, promo videos, face-to-face consultations, social media, etc. ESSENCE master program supervisor has organized an information session on June 21, 2021, that brought together 18 bachelor degree students interested in obtaining master degree. Professor Suslov told the audience about the program and its peculiarities, why it is actual, advantages for the labor market, curriculum features, etc. He furthermore emphasized that the program has been developed based on Erasmus+ project outputs and outcomes, its learning outcomes are in line with the European Qualification Framework. Thus the program meets the highest QA standards. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session what students asked a lot of questions, e.g. career prospects, practical training placement, program schedule as well as entry requirements, admission procedures, etc.
