ESSENCE blended partner meeting at P4/TPU

On April 26-29, 2021 Tomsk Polytechnic University hosted the ad hoc ESSENCE partner meeting on current and forthcoming project activities. In line with the new pandemic reality, the event was held in a blended format: Russian partners of the consortium met face-to-face while European and Vietnamese colleagues joined online.

The main point of the agenda has become the ESSENCE summer school, the online event that will bring together students and staff of all ESSENCE partners in July 2021. During the Tomsk meeting, the summer school concept and project case have been discussed and approved, technical assignment for video lectures and requirements to school mentors, students, and experts have been developed and confirmed, dissemination plan for the summer school has been drafted.

The partners have also discussed the modernization of the ESSENCE website, the concept and agenda for the final dissemination conference, implementation of ESSENCE courses and curricula, and QA and final reporting issues.

As always, the meeting agenda has been rich and the discussions have been intense and fruitful. All planned results of the ad hoc meeting have been achieved.
