Students from different regions of Russia attended information sessions of P4/TPU

TPU has conducted several information sessions for the students during May 2021 in the framework of the upcoming admission campaign. More than 30 students from different cities of Siberia and Far East of Russia attended information sessions. Two programs have been presented – “Power System Operation and Control” and “Information technologies for Electrical Power Industry”.

During the information sessions, Head of educational programs – Anton Prokhorov, explained which competences are intended for being acquired by the graduates of the master programs modernized within the ESSENCE project. The high demand of the graduates having multidisciplinary skills was emphasized. Besides the possible job placement of graduates, cooperation with industry, programs content, equipment and software infrastructure of the programs as well as admission rules have been clarified. To make sure that students pursuing bachelor level diploma at different universities are able to enter TPU’s admission examination which contain the module devoted to information technologies, additional online consultations have been offered and will be continued in June 2021.
