Online Course оn Operating Modes of Distributed Generation

A team of UrFU master’s teachers of the Artificial Intelligence in Power Industry Applications program created an online course on the discipline Operating Modes of Distributed Generation. The course is aimed at developing competencies related to the analysis of the operating features and environmental aspects of the use of heat engines and gas turbines that are part of distributed generation facilities.

Preparing an online course involves several stages. Stanislav Eroshenko, one of the teachers of this master’s program, will tell us what it is:

First, you need to prepare the content, this means developing a detailed course plan and preparing all the necessary materials. It is important to have a clear course structure and identify the main topics that will be covered. Secondly, to film an online course you need to have high-quality equipment, such as camera, microphone, lighting. Thirdly, immediately before shooting, you need to make sure that all equipment is working properly. During filming, the teacher goes through a prepared course plan, recording video lectures. After shooting, editing occurs, which includes cropping, color correction, adding graphics and other elements. Creating an online course takes time, work and professionalism, but it is worth noting that for us, as teachers and course developers, the final result is worth the effort.
