The ESSENCE project was presented by young scientists of the Urals at a seminar dedicated to Cybersecurity

A scientific seminar “Digitalization and Cybersecurity” was held at the Ural Federal University on October 23, 2019. The seminar was attended by young scientists and representatives of the Ural Federal University, the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Union of Defense Industry Enterprises of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Regional Ural-Siberian Scientific Center RARAN.
The Ural Power Engineering Institute, represented by Alexandra Ilmarovna Khalyasmaa, Associate Professor of the Department of Automated Electrical Systems, presented the main achievements in the field of energy digitalization, implemented over the past three years. Also, special attention in the report was paid to new trends in the educational activities of the Ural Power Engineering Institute and a new master’s program “Erasmus + ESSENCE” was presented since 2017, implemented at the Department of “Automated electrical systems” Ural Power Engineering Institute URFU.
