Posted on November 15th, 2019
Masterclasses for candidates on the “Best Student of 2019” award have started.
“Best Student of Past Year” is a bright project for university students who have already shown themselves in the field of science, creativity, student leadership and various areas of social activity. The award provides an opportunity to master new competencies, get acquainted with the university leadership and experts, and gain unique experience for development at the university and building a career.
During the month, 70 participants, who were selected from 340 applicants, participate in master classes that allow them to develop their skills in self-branding, soft skills, and effective presentation.
For the second time, Alexandra Khalyasmaa has been conducting masterclasses on how to make a good presentation and confidently present your science project for the competition “Best Student of 2019” in the scientific direction. Together with the Council of Young Scientists of UrFU, the “Erasmus + ESSENCE” project team teach young scientists the skills of self-presentation, branding in social networks, and how correctly build professional and informal communication to popularize science and their own research. Alexandra has invited students to the Eramus + ESSENCE masters’ curriculum, where the soft skills are addressed as much as hard skills.
