Cooperating with Asia

The Laboratory of Digital Twins in the Power Industry continues to expand its horizons and establish new relationships in Asia. This time we went to Vietnam in Hanoi University of Mining and Geology, where several meetings with local scientists and experts were held.

The Digital Twins Lab traveled to Vietnam to make contacts with local scientists and experts. They held several meetings and negotiations, where the opportunities for cooperation and mutual exchange of experience were discussed. They discussed in particular:

  • Further development of joint projects,
  • Cooperation between the UrFU Department of Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnical Systems and the HUMG Faculty of Electromechanics within the framework of Master’s programs in Power Engineering,
  • Organization of student mobility in Power Engineering, Economics and Management, IT and Chemical Engineering.

In addition, laboratory workers introduced their developments and working methods. This helped to strengthen relations between the specialists from different countries and increase the level of knowledge and skills in the field of digital technologies.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the level of knowledge and interest in new technologies among the local specialists. We believes that such international cooperation will allow us to develop new projects and exchange experience with colleagues from other countries. We hope that in the future we can continue to establish contacts in Vietnam and expand our opportunities in Asia,” – said Stanislav Eroshenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnical Systems.
